M#2 Workshop Guest Coordinator (Complementary Activities)

Assistant Professor and Collaborating Member of the Research Institute in Art, Design, and Society (I2ADS) at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto (FBAUP). In 2015, he obtained a PhD in Art and Design – in the scientific field of Drawing – from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, with the research project “The Process as a Circumstance of Drawing. Contributions to the Study of Experimental Process Models.” As a lecturer and researcher in the Drawing Department at FBAUP, his work focuses on understanding the issues involved in drawing processes and how they can become a viable means of thought and conceptualization in drawing. As an artist, he has been exploring the notion of limits in the definition of processes conventionally associated with painting, photography, and drawing.
