The i2ADS is an R&D unit financed by the FCT, and its mission is to promote research across disciplines and its impact on educational and societal challenges. The Institute is a portal partner of the Society for Artistic Research/Research Catalogue (with 30.000 registered users), with privileged access to a research network in arts and online international journals. i2ADS is also a member of the European Educational Research Association. The relationship between the i2ADS and the PhDs (Fine Arts and Arts Education) promotes constant synergies with its students, involving them with the institute’s researchers in different projects.
