M#2 Workshop Guest Coordinator (Complementary Activities)
Visual Artist and Professor, living and working in Porto. His projects are characterized by multidisciplinarity—photography, video, sculpture, installation, drawing, and artist books—and have explored the relationships between artistic practice and the social context, particularly methodologies of engagement and participation, as well as interstitial situations between artistic creation and learning environments. He is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, holding a PhD in Artistic Education and a Master’s in Contemporary Artistic Practices from the same institution. As a researcher, he collaborates with the Research Institute in Art, Design, and Society (I2ADS) at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto. From 2008 to 2018, he maintained a close relationship with the Educational Service of the Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art, designing and coordinating workshops in visual expression, courses, training programs, and seminars.
